A couple of decades ago, some of my co-workers blasted me for taking a foreman's position that only paid 50 cents an hour more, saying they wouldn't want the added responsibilities for $20 a week.
I told them I would have taken the position even if there were no additional pay.
I told them "I'm so sick and tired of listening to the a-hole, I want to BE the a-hole!
