Strange observation over the last few days. When I am driving the car, I use the left (driver's side) more than the right side mirror. On the bike I use the right side mirror more than the left.

I use both because I have those stupid maltese cross mirrors and can't see much out of either.

I think I use the left more. As long as I don't see behind me, I'm happy

Yeah, but the important thing is, you LOOK cool! (That's probably the first thing Wendy noticed, NOT your manly physique and chiseled features, but those great mirrors!)

I tend to use the left mirror mostly... probably because that's the one I use most on the car (driving on the RH side of road of course).
Live to love, love to live.

well you now have another choice...no mirrors on the bike at all, but on your helmet: http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/motorcycle-helmet/reevu/http://www.reevu.com/company.aspThis has been launched here in the UK for £250, not sure of the cost in the USA though.

That's a pretty cool helmet. But, I wonder if the mirror would be distracting while looking forward and how hard would you really have to look at the mirror to figure out what is going on taking your concentration off the road. Maybe it would all be just a matter of time to get use to it?

I expect that to fully utilize this wonderful new helmet I would have to purchase that propane system. You know the one that has a propane gas device attached to your muffler that will allow you to blast out a 15' blast of flame to the rear. This might help to prevent tailgaters.
Leno once was driving a turbo car with a very hot exhaust and on more than one day he saw the plastic front parts of tailgating vehicles melt and drip onto the roadway. This was because the sign at the back of the vehicle "Stay back 50 feet--HOT JET EXHAUST" was written in only English.
07 Speedmstr, Long Tors, bags, sissy bar and rack, windshield, engine bars, 2 ww lights, 2 fast eddy stickers and a .45 ACP.

I'm with the 1 mirror only group. Looks way cooler. The 3 inch black mirror from lickscycles. Awesome product.
