I think the idea of Dent continuing and having another "southern" event a little later in the year seems to have some support. Here's a suggestion (not exactly deep south but more south than Dent LOL).

Venue: Field next to thispub



1. 11 YEARS in the Good Beer Guide
2. Reg the landlord is a biker
3. Have motorcycle rallies several times a year there so knows what we need (see point 1)
4. No problem with having a bonfire (big as you like)
5. Will lay on a special menu (cheaper than normal)
7. Will lay on a special beer
8. Field will accommodate up to 80 and will be ours alone for the weekend
9. Tea / coffee making area open through the night
10. Toilets wil be kept open through the night

I would be happy to arrange the event. It's not too far from my house so i could do a Ray and take a gazebo, BBQ etc for people to use.

If there is enough interest i will kick off a new thread and start to sort details (dates in 2011, ride out etc).
