Yes, see this TPS Post from Sept 2008. I had an intermittent problem with the bike quitting that I tracked back to a defective TPS sensor. I had pressure washed my bike some time earlier and gotten water into it. The resistance values were messed up. Disconnected it and the intermittant cutout problem dissappeared along with the popping on decel. It has been disconnected eversince.
