For what it's worth, I wear Tourmaster pants. They did an excellent job of protecting my skin when I went down 2 years ago. They have a removable liner but I've always left it in.
I also wear a very heavy leather Triumph jacket, I forget what style. It also got scratched up when I went down and one leather patch on the left elbow was ripped off slightly, but it's still in great shape and I wouldn't part with it.
