I was wondering if anybody has tried these bags? What size? How was the fit? Do you have any pictures? How is the quality? Would you reccomend them? http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/3/1...spx?sst=RR|5247

Hi Mathew.I can't help you with those however I have very similar bags made by River Road.I have the compact slant extra large.I have them mounted on easy brackets.Tons of room in these bags with two small pockets for sunglasses gloves etc.I got a super deal on them.Walked into a Honda dealer they wanted $160.00 for them, guy says if I really liked em I could have them for $75.00.They have held up very well.I'll try to put some pics up after work. Charlie.

I don't have those, I have Hepco Becker Buffaloes. But, those are nice bags at a good price. I wouldn't put throw over bags on my paint. In this economy there should be some great deals on separate just as nice bags and invest in some EasyBrakets for mounting. You will be much happier in the long run. Good luck

I've got a set of Tourmasters (XL box style). They fit decent. I still have Triumph saddle brackets on my bike and the bags are big enough to where they just rub against the rear shocks. So the inner foam lining gets slightly chewed if I'm riding aggressively, but no big deal.
The room is good but not as much as I thought I would have. However, that could be my own inexperience. The only bags I've had before where the stock slant Triumph bags that really couldn't carry much. On a side note, I also picked up a Med. Tourmaster sissy bag, and TONS of room in that thing...fyi.
The bags themselves I haven't had many issues. I enjoy the easy in/easy out of the strap clips. The one issue I did have with them is the zipper would come undone while riding (happened 2, maybe 3 times). I just took the bag strap and wrapped it around the saddle brackets and no problems since.
Bought mine through Amazon for a pretty decent price and delievered within a week.
2005 America, green/gray, gutted stock pipes, tall sissy bar w/ luggage rack, Saddleman's dual touring seat and Tourmaster saddlebags (and sissybar bag).

I would not recommend them due to quality. I've had mine for 3 years. The vinyl on the inner flaps has separated from the fabric liner and split from the bag at the fold seam of the flap so they are just hanging inside the bag. Not visible from the outside but annoying.
It's a shame because they look pretty good on the bike. I used EZbrackets but I also kept the throw over and placed it under the pillion seat after removing the pillion seat bumpers. (I did this so you don't see the ezbrackets) remove/install is a little more annoying as you have to unzip/zip the bag but it looks good. My next bags will have more room. OK for a quick day trip but useless for anything else.
