I have been looking for a realatively cheap mirror replacement, but ensuring I get the right fit is what has been stopping me taking the plunge. I can't justify £110 for a set of Triumph ones, but I stumbled across these: http://www.bellacorse.com/bcc081.htmWhat do peopl think, also do you have any suggestions you can impart.

Also try here Matt
Can't fault the mirrors....except after about 18 months, one decided to give up, and break off the stem...

If you use the mirror adaptors, you can pretty much put on any mirror you want. Endless options. My advice is pick what mirror you REALLY like and use those rather than picking the best looking mirror from a few that are a direct fit. Just my 2cents.

I've had these mirrors for a few years now and I love em. they went on without any adapters and I would buy them again if and when I have to.
if life gives you lemons keep them because hey, free lemons.

Cheers guys, really appreciate the advice. I agree I need to find ones I really like and stuff the cost as if I buy cheap ones and then don't like them or the finish is rubbish...false economy.

Any one have photos of what the mirrors look like with the adapters. Looking at these but wondering if they will look odd where the bottom of the stem meets the adapter. http://www.d2moto.com/p-6664-universal-c...i-cruisers.aspx

Well dang, I went through all my pics and I don't seem to have any closeups of the mirrors stems. I can get some later but it will be a couple of days. Meanwhile judging from the pic of the mirrors you're considering I really don't think the adaptation will look outta place. In my opinion as a guy that used the adapters, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I picked up these Kuryakyn's at a swap meet for $40. They had allenbolts and a small washer. They fit on, cinched them down and they have never moved. No adapter needed.

Using the mirrors off my stock 1981 Yamaha Virago. Sitting in my garage collecting dust. The mirrors fit prefectly.
Do not take for granted the car in front of you will run the yellow light.
