The price is down to $175.99 with 3 days left on the sale, my flame cut w/blk springs came today, drop shipped directly from Progressive, I paid the higher price, but I'm still thrilled with the deal.

I googled your area. You've got some nice riding right there.

Just ordered mine. What a great deal. I see several of you have already ordered and received these. Is it a big improvement over stock ? My tailbone is really hoping so.

The Pacific NW is full of some great roads to ride.

A heads up on these shocks, (at least mine)the aluminum end caps are secured by very small set screws (size .050 allen) and are loc-tited in from the factory and a good over night soak with Kroil or other penetrating solvent is a good idea before attempting to put any torque to them, I set the shocks to the 2nd setting to start, as the higher settings retreat away from the bottom cap as more preload is applied, I found that by inserting a 9/16ths 6" bolt in the eye of the shock, I was able to precisely square up the caps to the bore lines of the shocks with my 4" machinist square.
Also I needed to spin the top retainer ring via a brass drift and hammer so that I could utilize both set screws at the top, it moved quite easily, one more btw, the bottom of the shock is offset from the centerline and I had to call the tech guy at Progressive to verify that the offset goes inboard towards the bike..so it all installed pretty smooth except for breaking the set screws loose and breaking my only .050 allen wrench I had on my first attempt to move them. LOL

I didn't have any trouble with the set screws. Thanks for the info on the offsets. I'll have to check and make sure I didn't install them wrong.

Greetings Joe
My set screws were sugared with some white substance that would pass for red loctite, the Progressive tech guy said that the bottom offsets go inboard and that sets the shocks vertical with your bike, but, it would still be acceptable to reverse them if you needed clearance for a belt drive or whatever in a interference situation, btw, I'm thinking the bottom caps would be tight on the fasteners reversed? maybe not
