I'm back to 40 or 42 pilot what every came out on a 03( can't read the writting at my age). Went from 132 mains to 125. But added one more shim. It will do 81 mph at 6000 rpm's at about 80% throttel. So I think biger main's. Every thing eles is really good. But frist I want to read plugges. What I'm worried about,if I take my Triumph to Sturgis this year. That's 300+ miles at 80 + mph over Inter Sta. 90. Will I be running lean after 80 % + throttel. I want to run a littel rich on high throttel.Rudy
How about 81 MPH at 5000 RPM. With a 17 tooth sprocket I could do 80 MPH at 4500 RPM. Just sitting hear thinking(my wife dosn't like me doing that)now that I've got enouft power at start why not try a 17 t agein. Rudy

Well I've told it in past but we all sleeped since then. I've got a 03 America with unico air cleaner snorkl in(don't want the noise). Got Harley short muffler with drilled baffel. But I'm pushing a 200 lb. sidecar. Now something you guys forgot to remind me abot the choke. I had forgot about the choke test. Took her out today and got up 80 MPH and no faster till I pulled the chock 85 MPH. That tells me need a biger main jet. Now if it had run worse would have told me that I had to big of main jet. You all remenber the choke cuttes down on air and increas gas flow, Right? Oh I don't know what need jet I'e got in. I changed back and forth so many time. What or the letter on the older thounder bird or the stock america?Rudy
