All right, time for all you lurkers to chime in. This thread is only for people with post numbers in the double-digits or less or with a status of "Stranger."

Dwight, Adey, Benny, Phil, all you regulars (you ALL know who you are) DO NOT post. I'll decide whether I want to delete posts from the regulars after we see if you chuckleheads can restrain yourselves or not.

So Lurkers! Time to stand up and be counted. If you haven't introduced yourself yet, now's your chance. If you have introduced yourself but it's been awhile, let's hear from you again.

I'm shutting up now. Take it!

I'm new here but still classed as a "Stranger" which suits seeing I come from a village in the SW of England. Maybe the classification of just "Strange" would be better suited!

Richard, Choctaw, Oklahoma. Just received my mints from Brent yesterday. Lo and behold they came with Nology hot wires, coils, pingle and drop-in K&N filter. I think with that I may have the intake, exhaust and ignition where I want it, for now. Now to see about fuel mix. I'm just a little skittish about experimenting with the jets yet. Everything is perfect right now or seems to be anyway. No popping on decel and strong acceleration. Any other Oklahoma riders here?

I just signed up for the forum yesterday. I have not bought a triumph yet, but am shopping for a Bonneville T-100 or a Speedmaster. Does anyone have an opinion regarding the purchase of a used 2003 Speedmaster vs. a new 2006 Speedmaster?

Jason, Seabrook, NH. I am the one who stole (oops purchased) my TBA for only $3000. And it only had 1600 miles on it when she came to live with me.

Well, I may be a stranger, but I've posted a few times. Just, don't get much time to read the boards. At present I am deployed to Spain, I know rough, so I miss my baby alot. I get back around April 15th, hopefully springtime will be starting and I can ride!

I'm just an old dog (hint...my grandkids think I'm pretty cool!) trying to learn a few new tricks for my scoot. I've done a few upgrades, Uni, 130 mains, TBS needles, mod air box and mod stock exhaust. Just changed brake pads (from Brent) as well as added Brent's Speed Bleeders.
Bike runs great. May go for a dyno this spring to compare with butt dyno!
For all you guys'n gals that post regularly, keep up the good work.

I've only been a member of this forum for a few weeks, but it feels like much longer. I've learned much so far, and have had many, many appreciated opinions on my posts. Thanks for making me feel comfortable in this strange new world (the motorcycle world).

My expertise lies in music/guitars so if anyone needs any advice there...feel free to let me know.

I guess I am a lurker. Name is Matt and I log onto the forums at least twice a day. Just seeing what everyone is talking about. I have asked a few questions, or advice on how to do things. Got to admit, everyone on here is very, very helpful and very fast to help you out. I post a question and with a few hours I have multiple responses. So glad I got turned onto this site. And thanks to those who keep it running smoothly.

Another lurker here, i read the forums almost every day.
I'm not very mechanicaly minded so i don,t say much when people start talking about jetting, air mods, electrics, etc because i just don,t know! Then again i'm not very computer literate either.

Check in everyday just to see what's going on.Thanks to Airguy, the saddlebag brackets look great, Thanks to Stern12 for convincing me to spend the cash for the Corbin seats. Now if the Temps will get above 30F so I can take the America out an test the new seats!! I'll still be lurking here, beware of the $6 dollar man!

I've been lurking for 4 years now. Three of which I didn't have my America. Apperently, I'm a man of few words. I have picked up a lot of useful, albeit expensive, information here.

Didn't buy into the hype, you can keep the change.

After lurking here for about a year, I finally figured out how to register 9 days ago. I bought my TBA new in Feb.03, I sure wish I had found this site sooner. I've got Bub slashcuts, AI gone, Carbs jetted and shimmed. She really runs strong, but now I need to get more air coming in. Next will be to remove snorkles (I'm not sure what these are yet), and do filters, airbox mods and whatever. The information on this site is priceless, and I'm looking forward to many more views and posts. Also looking forward to meeting, and riding with members in my area. Charlie

RE popping:I'm not sure which did it for me, but, a combination of AI removed, and bigger pilots/mains did it for me. Charlie

Matthew Lim from South Dakota, riding a Black America that was purchased wrecked for $3,400. It had only 67 miles on the clock. Been on the site for over 2 years but prefer to lurk than to post. I learn more that way.

Nah you just have to stick up for yourself. They have phases of not liking "girls" in here. There are some "girls" in here and we all stick up for ourselves quite well.

Anyway without saying that you were French we'd never know...

Hi to all, I'm Steve from Rustburg, VA. and proud owner of a pristeen '02 America purchased in Oct. 05, with only 2400 (now 3600) miles, the British flag tank and fender, long off roads, Triumph touring seat, short sissy bar and luggage rack, 18/42 sprockets, tons of chrome (thanks to the original owner), AI removed and some rejetting. I have enjoyed lurking, asking and learning. The amount of information and personal experiences on this forum is just wonderful. Thanks to the moderators and members for keeping it going.

girl,Harley,girl,Harley....I'd rather be a girl on this site. Won't get bashed as bad as a Harley! Besides, this girl has a '68 Truimph chopper and a new America. How lucky can a girl be!! I will lurk and keep my head down since I am a newbie. I only have 10 miles on my new America and about the same on the chopper. They are both 'new' bikes this year. My husband is having more fun than he will admit on the chopper. He has a Valkyrie.
