I bought some Swingwing Pegs. I finally put them on and went for a ride yesterday, about 80 miles, and am not sure what I think. They are a bit more comfortable when they are closed, but waaaaayyyy wide when open. I think my legs may be too short for them. I wanted another option for longer rides especially when on roads like I-5 and I-84, but I really feel like I'm in the gynecological position with these.
Has anyone elset tried these? What are your opinions?
I'm gonna ride with them up to Nelson, and see what I think after a week, but I may need to put the stock pegs in the bag just in case.

Huh... I'd be interested in checking them out when you get here (Nelson). I've never seen those up close and in person. The 'gynecological position' as you so descriptively put it, never did appeal to me. But it might feel good on a hot summer's day!!!

Have you seen the swing pegs that swing to the back instead of the front? It swings back for a place to rest your heel and acts like footboards so to speak. You might like those better.

Yeah I did look at those, and the ones I bought, and couldn't decide between the two. I may of chose poorly. Unfortunately, these things were not cheap.
I did put some Newspeedmaster rear peg hangers on the back, and can now comfortably put my feet behind me for a nice little stretch. That has worked out very well.

I have the same brackets. I like to stand up on those pegs riding through dirt as well as just to stretch. Lotta construction around the State lately.

I was thinking of getting the dresser bars & highway pegs - but I really don't like the look of the dresser bars. Those pegs look like a better option, I'm currently using the wings pegs but feel the need for a stretch occasionally. How's the quality?
Was also going to go for the rear hangers from new speedmaster.

I also bought them because I don't care for the look of highway pegs, I do have the smaller/triangular style engine bars, and didn't want them hanging off there.

The quality seems quite good. I mean they are waaayy heavier than I thought they would be and seem quite solid. Very easy to install too. They open and close very easily.
They are not so bad if I rest my heels on them, but my legs are just a little to short to put them up there, like I thought I would. They are very comfortable when closed.
One thing, is it is very difficult to shift when they are open. I may need to adjust the shift lever if I were to use them alot.
I will say they will probably work best if someone has long legs.

They're fine. Big hunks of metal, powder-coated black, with all the holes in the right places. Bought mine used. They support 350lbs. of fat hairy nerd biker wannabe. Works for me. Might change pegs some day, but they stockers work fine.
