Thanks for the info-I didn't think the tube length would matter.I cut mine about aninch and half past the 90 bend where it slips on the crankcase nipple-with the filter upright.Have beat the ****** out of three baffels(stock exaust)man thats one tough job removing those suckers-removed a.i-installed k&n filter in stock air box-rejetted 130 mains.2005 speedmaster (also have 2003 thunderbird)love them triumphs."Friends wonder about friends who ride hardley a davidsons"
