Anyway to test the CDI (igniter) to see if in fact it is the problem?

I know it's not a problem of the bike running lean. I have been running the same set-up for several years now and the problem only started a few days ago.

This morning, I pulled the bike out of the garage, it fired right up (with a small bit of choke). As usual I let it warm up a minute or two (long enough to get my helmet and glove on). Rode about a mile to the gas station. Filled up, re-started the bike and the problem came back. I limped it back home. Waited a half hour or so, and it fired back up.

Really sucks, we finally have some great weather going on and now this.
