a really good habit is to, shut the gas off when the ignition is off. that is the way it was taught to me many yrs ago and i always do it to this day. another thing that some people tend to do is shut the bike down with the kill switch, and i have always been told that, that is not a good habit.
like i said before, i think cold blooded is more of a lean issue than an electric one.
