Mine weren't either. Mine were set in the middle. I set them at the lowest setting.

I put a bit more than a 100 miles on them today. They definitely do the trick! Not to mention I love the way they look.

The hardest part about getting mine on were getting the hole plug cap things on without bending any of the tab things.

When I removed my old shocks, I jacked up the bike just enough to relieve all the pressure (tire still on the ground) and used a large screw driver to gently pry them off.
