Don't feel bad Jon, every one of us was in your position at one time or another. Ask away!!

You can adjust your air mixture with a short piece of 1/4" metal brake line. Take one end and tap it with a hammer until you make a D out of it. A little trial and error and you have a mixture adjustment tool.

Some people have removed the air mixture screw and sawn a cut across the top so a slotted screwdriver will work for adjusting. If you do remove them completely, put a small towel under the carbs as there is a washer and O-ring on each that could get lost.

Definitely check out Pat's pages and specifically where he talks about adjusting the pilot screws.
