Is a "hi po" plug really about adding horsepower or is it about burning fuel more efficiently and utilizing the stronger spark for a smoother idle and better response!?!?!?!
For me its the latter. Ive done similar upgrades with cars and have seen/felt a difference. Thats what prompted the latest upgrade.
Soren. I cant say how much of a diff the plugs made as I added the coils and wires at the same time...I do feel a slightly better throttle response and easier revs. Im happy. Its what I expected.
I opted for the Nology plugs over the Iridium for the silver in the Nology plugs....its simply a better conductor. Im curious how fast they will wear out tho. They should wear much faster than the Iridiums.
I agree it isn’t about more power, but being more fuel efficient and having better response.
I've been using the Nology coils and wires for several years now and have liked them. But, I have also been running the NGK Iridium plugs. I didn’t even notice that Nology had plugs until a few days ago.
I think I just might order a set and see how it goes.
