Shocks: Anyone heard of these

As a result of me laying down my Speedy and trashing my progressive shock on the left, I began to investigate replacement alternatives. Then, I ran into these shocks on Sway-a-way's suspension website. Sway-a-way has made a name for themselves in the Baja, Dune buggy, and Sand Rail realm. Now they're

making these beauties for streetbikes. They sell some that would gap 12.5 inches (just the size I need).

Thoughts?

"Speedmaster" is a title not a name, - and the title is not plural.

I'm curious what is the gap on our stock shocks?

Learning from my mistakes... again and again.

The website doesn't tell you much about them. Air-assisted? They look like remote reservoir, but apparently not. No price either. I'd wait to hear a review, but let us know the price and details.

These look like the shocks that are used on monster trucks to dampen the hard landings. IF they are of like design, then the small reservoir is nitrogen filled and the shock itself is filled with oil. The oil spills into the gas reservoir under load and presses a gas piston to compress (and thus dampen) the shock. This type of shock was specifically developed for monster trucks when it was found that normal shocks were just too bouncy. Unless you make high jumps with your bike (I doubt you do) these are way overkill for the normally ridden cruiser. My source for this info was a segment on Monster Trucks (duh!) on Modern Marvels (History Channel).
