I'd hollow it out and have fake drawer fronts and hide in there during the work day.

that's not a bad idea
I wasn't going to get it but Matco was having a sale if u buy the bottom u get $2000 off the top box and he gave me $3500 for my old box which was half the size of this one so after the $3500 trade in and $2000 off the hole thing cost me $1690 which is pretty good cuz list cost for that box is $7000

Nice. (sigh) When I was starting out all they had was red, of course that was when there was only Mac and Snap-on here.

One of the guys I worked with in the 70s had the Snap-on box of the time, and it was pretty big, he had a refrigerator and a stereo in it.

If our SHE people saw a proper sign like that, they'd be running around panicing like headless chickens and we'd end up having to wear radiation suits and carrying gieger counters

You think it makes yours look small, how about mine? Funny thing though, I can take that whole car apart with what fits in that box.

Very nice, congrat's!

Lets turn this into a "show us your toolbox" thread. Here's my rig, which has served me well the past 10 years. It's pretty full, but I really don't need much else.

My dad gave me his old Craftsman roll-away last year. Exactly one of these stickers is mine. Still gotta put a Triumph sticker on it.

Hey John,
Just stopped in to see who's still kickin.
Don't want to bust your bubble but that's not a Craftsman box. I can't place its exact liniage but suspect it could be Proto Tools.

Sweet box, I've got a yellow 3 bay matco box I've been using for about 5 years now, they're spendy but well worth the investment, you'll never need another box unless you run out of space.

You are correct. It's a Montgomery Ward toolbox, so I suppose it could've been made by just about anybody.

Yes, but I'm not sure this is one. It may be just a snap on sticker, it does look and feel like good quality though.
