Joe, you go and wave your flag with your head high and let the poor parents know that someone is PROUD of their son/daughter.
PC gone mad. We had a good case of that last November. We have a Rememberance Day, when the old soldiers parade, to remember their fallen comrades. The local council decreed that a march could not happen as the road had potholes and wouldn't be safe for them to walk!!! (not that running up a bloody beach is safe!!) Anyway when the British Legion (group for old soldiers), complained to the council, they were told that they (the council) would have the police stop the march! Anyway to cut short, Old Soldiers arrived for parade, police marched down road and blocked road. When the soldiers came marching out, the police (as if on parade ground) wheeled, parted and lined the road, and saluted the old men as they marched past.
Left one very embarrassed council!!
