Does anyone know how to adjust the rear stock suspension on a 2002 Bonneville America? I can see the adjustment frames but how do you turn it?
Thanks ahead of time...

Get an allen wrench that fits tightly in the adjuster hole and lift on the fender when you twist the adjuster ring. You're just looking for a rod that becomes a lever when attached, I had a suitable allen handy but you may find something else in your garage that works equally well.

I run mine at #4 although #3 might be the best for me solo. My wife rides a lot with me and I'm too lazy to change the shocks. It originally came from factory on #2.

Triumph actually has a part number of a tool to change the shocks. It's just a tool that fits in the hole. It's about 5 or 6" long with a right angle bend at one end. A lot of things will work. If you want the Triumph part it is: T2300995 and only cost a little over $3. I keep mine on the bike.

Thanks for the info on the shock adjusting tool. I just ordered mine today. It lists for $4.89 CDN.
