As in a lot of these cases there is a little editing being done to make the story better. In the full video there is a State police car behind the bike with lights going. The plain clothes trooper also has his badge clearly showing on his belt and verbally identifies himself as a trooper. Your assuming the Trooper was off duty and thats a civilian vehicle. I don't think thats the case. I don't believe that the gun drawn was a smart move but I think the troopers were reluctant to let the bike take off again after they have just pursued him at 100+ mph and while the bike was doing wheelies.
What would have happened if the biker was killed after the Trooper was unable to stop him?
The whole video thing is the rider trying to be a cooldouch and its likely to now bite him in the ******.
Maryland is a 2 person wire tap consent state, he didn't have the Troopers permission to tape him (even though its on a public street)so its illegal.

I also wonder(taking the 2 person consent thing in to consideration) how dash cams work in that state.

Seems after he posted the video on youtube 6 cops showed up and searched his house, arrested him and put him in jail for 26 hours. The strange thing is that there was no judge's signature on the warrant and when he did get to see a judge the judge said there was no reason for him to be arrested because Maryland's wiretap laws are only applicable when someone has an expectation of privacy.
