I have a 08 America, 2 years old and 7500 miles so far. Got back from a ride out the other day and my mate notice a small dribble of oil on the very top fin just below the rocker cover on the left hand side of the engine behinde the spark plug. The dribble was tiny but wet (you could see it was oil). I wiped it away and rang the dealer the next day, I was told Bonnie engine does'nt normally leak oil but as it was so small and a first occurance to keep and eye on it. Anyways over the last 2 weeks nothing has reappeared except that the rubber gasket on the rocker box seems wet on the left side, the engine hasn't used any oil since I had the bike and its still not. Anybody else seen anything like this.

I had the gasket replaced recently due to a small leak - I regretted it because the cam gear got joggled out of synch and it had to be opened up again. If it's still under warranty I'd try to get it fixed, if not I'd ignore it til it needed valve adjustment (unless it gets worse of course).

Thanks guys, just come out of warranty, typical! A bit of oil here and there ain't a problem really, lets you know she's real. I'll just keep a watchfull eye and make sure the rocker box bolts have not lossened off.
