Wow, I hit 30k on the Speedy!!!!! Just had to let it be known. What a great bike. I sit on lots of other bikes and think about something else but nothing can replace this. It does everything I've asked of it. It has so much character.

I'm amazed no one has come in here and crapped on your achievement by mentioning how much mileage they have on their bike. Here's to another 30k.

Not opening the engine just because it isn't giving you a problem is a very bad idea. Once it starts to give you a problem it's too late and likely going to be a costly repair.

The more guys I hear getting more miles in than me the more I like it. I hope it is an idication of what I might expect.

Congrats! Beautiful thing being able to clock 30K isn't it?! Lots of memories and good times too, and a good tale or several of on-the-road mishaps. Foder for the grandkids stories, or when the beer flows at rallies. I remember when... btw, you have at a minimum, another 30K before you even think about a clutch.

One remarkable thing about riding is when you find yourself familiar with roads 1000+ miles from home. Was in a cage last September while in Pennsylvania. Passed a gas station I recalled filling up at on one of those tank to tank rides heading south. And here I was with parents. Same place different time but all the while longing to be on two wheels instead of in a stuffy RX 350.
