On Cody's recommendation I just replaced my stock pipes with a set of Staintunes. Even though the temp around here is a balmy 20 degrees, I had to take them for a shakedown ride. I'm currently running 130 mains and am impressed with the workmanship and sound of the pipes. I only got her up to 50mph before my face froze so can't comment to much on performance yet. Sure like the sound though!

Well you did better than I did. Pulled my baffles today, and just had to try it out. 17 deg. I gave out at 40 mph. Too cold for this.

I did the install myself. Don't waste the money on installation. The pipes come with simple directions, but you could figure it out easy enough. They also recommend a rejet which is a bit more involved but plenty of info is found on this forum. http://members.bluefrog.com/~pwhitbec/Triumph/carbs0.html
I was able to drop the carb bowls and rejet without removing the carbs from the bike. I used a sears 1/4" ratchet
http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/product.do?BV_UseBVCookie=Yes&vertical=TOOL&pid=00947478000

that would accept Philliphs head bits to reach the tight places. Before you remove the bowls, order your 135 main jets from Brent along with the the Carb screw kit that will replace the soft philliphs head screws with 8mm stainless head cap screws. http://www.newspeedmaster.com/html/carb_screw_kit.html
You can again use the sears ratchet tool with an 8mm bit to make carb jetting easier.

Oh oh. I hope they live up to expectations. I think you will like them. I think they sound great and another good thing is that they don't rust. I just pulled mine off to do some bike maintenance. I buffed up the pipes and I didn't find one speck of corrosion or rust. I've had them on for 2 years.

Did you leave the reducers in, or take them out? I've been running mine in, because I don't want them really loud, but I've heard they aren't much louder with the reducers removed.

Just put on my Staintunes! What a difference! These pipes sound great!

I also rejetted to 135s (following Dinqua's carb jetting instructions). Thanks Pat!

Now...if only it were warmer.
