What a great time meeting some of you folks from across the pond!
A big thank you to Rob and Cathy for their warm welcome and fantastic hospitality extended to me.
As always there has to be some navigational issues with me going to any BA event and this was no different. Finding Litchfield in New Hampshire was a breeze thanks to a State trooper giving me some helpful tips.
Finding my way around Litchfield was, errrr eventful, especially asking people by the side of the road 1. What town am I in? and 2. how do you get to Rob's house? I even tried to ask questions in "Americanese" so they might have a chance of understanding me. Never mind, I got to see a bit of Litchfield and as always got to where I was going eventually.
I will admit to getting back to Chesire in MA ok but then spent a good hour trying to find my father in law's house.
Hopefully with the forthcoming move and pitfalls of getting property sorted out I'll be able to get out to some more of the American rallies in the future! Blimey I might even be on a bike the next time.
