This years "farthest Traveled" award clearly goes to Graham Haycock (Strechermonkey) who traveled all the way from England to join this years discernibly small crowd...
Great rides! and a chance to meet some new faces! And with the smaller crowds I got the chance to sit and chat with people (something that just doesn't useually happen)
Glad that those who could make it did!
Sad that others couldn't!
Ed (eprunier) a local boy from nearby Auburn NH joined us for the "dealer ride"
and Steve (two wheel n) and his lovely other half Sarah made the trek from SE MASS
Matt and Bucky from CT (Bucky made it up for the Sat PM meal and beverages and was OTR before I awoke this AM, a short stay but great to see him.)
Matt was the only one who remembered to bring his Cam on the Friday ride so we stopped frequently to catch some of the vistas on "film"
Brian (lizardking) was reserved in his rides and I think he only made it to the Canadian boarder once or twice during his 2 day stay...
But he did offer this advise to others...If you are on a very narrow road and the sign ahead warns that the road is about to narrow... beware!
Graham showed up on Sat PM 'bearing gifts" and hung for the night...Great to meet him and listen to his tales!
(Ask him about his encounter with His Royal Highness the Prince Of Wales, sometime!)
Hope that those who made it had a good time inspite of the smaller crowd and missing "trappings" T's and patches and such...
thanks to all
