Well it's that time again....GA is over and now it's time to think of the Granite State...
Same weekend it has traditionally been (the one following the last week in July...
This year the dates are Friday July 30, Sat July 31 and Sunday August 1st (pre arrivals are Thursday the 29th)
The Saturday Night meal is still undecided...Last years Old Fashion New England Clam Bake was a great success but a logistical nightmare!...this year we are going to try something less time sensitive that will not require a trip to gather the meal during the Friday ride...
As always T's and Patches will be available, for those who wish...
The rides are still undetermined...but the coast, the mountains, and downtown Boston during rush hour are all on the table...OK, maybe not the Coast...I mean downtown Boston during rush hour...but the rides are still open

Welcome! all new commers are welcome...even those with a Speedmaster...nah...just kiddin here no need to start the debate over which is better the America or the Speedmaster...(even if we know it's the America)what do you want to know...this is the 5th year...Thursday is typically arival day, we Ride Friday..Saturday we take the long way to the dealer who feeds us lunch, and offers discounts (and often a pinstriper) Sat pm is a meal here, Sunday is departure...

Is this event open to former Speedmast riders who might be on a Harley now? I've been trying to clean out the garage and I have few triumph items to be donated for door prizes. And on the food front how about a pig roast?

Thanks RobBA, sounds like a good time and being in my back yard I'll probably join in. That's the beauty of NH, we have the coast and the mountains to choose from. (plus liquor stores on the highway) I thought long and hard (hehe) deciding between the America and the Speedy and ultimately the blacked out engine sold me. Being that I'm the new guy I'll have to let the Speedy crack fly (this time)

A worthy site, an epic site, a site of many a happy memory.
Rob's backyard. It used to include a couple campers as well, but some of us had a hard time getting out of those campers in the night.

And Some of those same people killed small round areas of the lawn with a very acidic compound The site is about 20 min North of the border...93 or rt 3 matters not either way

If it was anything else yes. But a Hardley? A moped would be better.
Just kidding Dill.
Already planning to be there. My 2 a year are the Triumph rally in Vermont and this one.
My mind and body are still out of tune
I hope they run into each other real soon "

Zactly. Less work for you and Lee- low on the ride home from Glosta in a microburst with the clams and lobsta factor and high on the simple quick yumminess factor.

There is a very (and I mean very) slim chance that I might (and thats a very slim might) chance that I will be all done and moved to Massachusetts by that time. At the very least I should be over there around that time sorting things out. So to console myself for missing the Euro rally it would be nice to pop along and meet some of the folks from across the pond. Not a definite but an outside possibility. Mind you, thats if I'm allowed to go. Rob - pm on its way!

Not having been told what part of NH it's in, I don't know how long a ride that is, but provisionally, yeah.
I've done Montreal from Ripton, VT before.

If you take the slab, the Canadian border is less than three hours from Manchester. Even allowing for some off-slab riding, it's very doable.

Greg, mert and I stayed overnight at the Nootka Lodge on the east side of Woodsville, NH. Our route to the NH 08 Rally from Woodsville. Someone was anxious to get to Rob's and Aunt Cathy's place. Google's version of the Welcome sign on NH212 aka Lost River Road. Our version Just a little ways past we stopped and stretched our legs a bit. Googles version web page Our version Turns out we were only 60 miles from Mt Washington as we turned onto I-93.

I would have to get up earlier for that one. Now the White Mountains may be doable before.
Joe they just like to bust em on me cause I usually have 50 or so miles in before I meet up with the late risers.

I don't understand how anybody can be a late riser on a camping trip. Mind you, this is coming from someone who, when I don't have to get up for work, rarely gets up before 9. But put me in a tent, and once the sky brightens and the birds start squaking, I'm awake.
