Sound advice. Though you may not wind up in the canal, your camera could wind up there or more likely in several peices after being yanked from your hand,and thrown against a wall. Still, Its an interesting place as long as you stay away from that ally at the far end....

If you are in or near Haarlem, head to Wilma & Albert's Steakhouse for dinner one night. Awesome food. Also, since you will have scooter, be aware that they do allow lane splitting.
