Yeah, it was good. Liked the first one better, but it's worth seeing. As usual, stay until after all of the credits.

I agree, the first one was better but liked Don Cheadle as Roddy.

I couldn't believe how many people left when I saw it only 20 of us stayed and well I wasn't surprised but was pleased to see it.

Here I gooooooo again. Movie was ok. But I still am dissapointed at the lack of imagination by Hollywood, to wit; Ironman 1. (Good film.) Ironman fights a BIGGER Ironman. Ironman 2., Ironman has already fought a bigger villian, so in this one, he fights MULTIPLE iron men. Ironman 3, next in this kind of thinking, Ironman will fight a GIRL ironwoman, the only thing left. Or maybe, Ironman 4, Ironman will fight an ALIAN iron man... You get the idea? Just like the last Hulk movie. Hulk fights a BIGGER Hulk.... etc.
There are so many cool villians in the Marvel universe, why not use them?

I heard this number 2 movie was an introduction to a new (series? here we go again!) based on the Avengers. The lack of imagination (story-wise) was (supposedly) for introducing all the elements that would make the next movie... The Captain America shield, the end credits for Thor, etc...

There were some ok and funny parts, but overall, it will not be a cult classic!

Actually, I have yet to be amazed be a clever and original movie... been waiting for a few years now...

I thought Iron Man 1 was pretty clever. Down right smart for an action movie, but as good as Mickey Rourke was (I was surprised, I expected to not like him) Whiplash is kind of a crappy villain. They set up The Mandarin in the first movie, why not go that way?

If you wanted to do the Russian thing, how about The Titianium Man?

Never going to happen, but I'd love to see Fin Fang Foom make his Movie debut.

Of course, as I've got Mjiolnir tattooed on my forearm, so this movie could have completely blown and I'd have been OK due to the credits.

Shameless self plug, speaking of superior Marvel villains, check out these 2 videos.

Aw, quit your whining. This time it isn't Hollywood's fault as much as it is Marvel's fault. The movie is based on the comics and in case you hadn't noticed, superheroes tend to fight villains like themselves.

Have to agree with John, Ironman (although one of my more liked Marvel characters) doesn't really have a diverse cast of villains. Most are rich evil corporate owners who are trying to emulate Tony Stark's creations.

oh poo on all of you guys! It's a MOVIE!!! Basicly a moving picture show of comics we read as kids. Just enjoy it, 'cause it's fun, and he has a cool room with cool cars and motorcycles in it.

Watched it last night. Stayed till after the credits and that little cage rolls out in the desert. The house arrest man shows up at a crater. Peggy Lee said it well, "Is that all there is?" Needless to say, clueless in central Floriduh.

Way to go John. Want to give away the rest of the movie, too?

Oh I liked it, very well done. I was just saying I liked the first a little better and that Iron Man's villains aren't that diverse.

Hey how about that other little "cameo" (of a sort) while Tony is performing his little science experiment, the "spacer" he uses to prop up his... well that thing he's using. It's a hint about another movie that is in pre-production. Chris Evans is leaving the Fantastic 4 (huh, like they'd make another one of THOSE turds) for this new franchise...

I liked it, actually enjoyed it. Got up and walked out???? shnikies if i just droped 65 dollars for me an the kids (you know drinks and candy req) ill sit to the end even if its a crappy movie (aka alvin and the chipmonks). teh non knowing tony stark withthe captain shield,, great side an good humor. i laughed at it.

you got to remember, as a majority, the target audiance did not grow up reading Marvel classic heros, DC even less. So for the kids it rocked.only we crusty adults who have armchair coaching strength Criticize fantasy. allsaid in good humor.

as someone said,, HEY iTS A mOVIE,,,,"REMOVED YOURSELF FROM THE DOUGHNUT"
