Unique position in that you know (i would think) what he can get for 6k, as you're heavily involved (i presume) in building hot motors and are most likely familiar with the associated costs, especially compared to most of us here.
I personally have no reason to doubt the durability of a well engineered hot motor in these bikes. They can take a beating in stock form and are a great base motor for a buildup.
I assume you're in the motor building business? Or do you just do your own?

If anybody likes to build an "special" motor there will be a zillion of variables and options.
Best route will be to E-Mail me for your particular goal or application, in order to take care of each situation individually ( That's what I do every day)
