Given $6000, how would you spend it on performance, only?

Ricor intimintaors - $300
Progressive 440s - $550 (or whatever brand you prefer)
Tires - $500 (again, your preference)

Brembo up front - $900 (or you could go with a dual rotor set up for about the same depending on your patience level)
EBC rear - $150 (pads included)

Suspension & Braking total - $2400

Motor upgrades in the order I would do them:
Cams - $700
Carbs - $1000
Ignitor - $300
Big Bore 1087 - $2000
Clutch - $120
Heads - $1000
Misc labor, parts and tuning depending on what your current set up is will vary greatly

Balls out - Motor total - $5120

One badazzmutha ride - priceless or about $7500 plus

I think I would agree with this. Well, I probably would really care less about stopping it. 100MPH is always the same no matter how fast you get to it. Our bikes brake OK and they corner kinda OK> With forward controls you are not making a sport bike but a go fast cruiser. I wonder how much torque the transmission and clutch can take over the long haul. Tear up the bottom end and you better have a reserve of $ left for OH CRap! moments.

Putting 6k into a 4k bike will leave you with a 4k bike IMHO but it would be fun.

I try to aggravate one person a day. Today may be your day.
