So when the TOR longs just got TOO loud (for my 59 year old ears) I put the stock pipes back on. Blessed relief for a ride or ten, but then - boring !

Thought about a mufflerectomy on the stocks, but then a buddy gave me a set of 1 1/2" x 12" long baffles. Of course, way too small in diameter for the 2 1/2 TOR's, so a $10 pack of motorcycle-muffler repack wrapped the baffles, bound with stainless wire, inserted up the TOR wazoo and secured with a single stainless bolt (hole in the back side of the TOR)

The result is a really sweet, mellow tone - think 327 with glass-packs - and no remapping to the FI needed. No more boring.

327? Glass packs? Sounds (pun intended) good to me!!!! Nice work!

Pedro, any photos of the conversion and/or sound files you'd care to share?

John, it was almost too easy for photos, but I'll pop one of the baffles out, re-wrap it and take a few pics of the re-install.

Pedro--don't trouble yourself if the process was straightforward. I am curious about a sound file if you have it. Would be nice to hear this! Thanks!
