They get movies with bikes confused with movies about bikes, at least they got a couple of them right on the "movies we missed" list On Any Sunday HellsAngels on Wheels Worlds Fastest Indian Wild Hogs (I'm serious!)

I agree. It drives me nuts that "The Great Escape" consistantly shows up on best biker movie lists. Yes, it's an excellent movie with an excellent motorcycle scene, but it's an insult to the people the movie was about (it's a true story) to call it a motorcycle movie.

If I had to choose only one for best all time biker movie, I think Worlds Fastest Indian would be it.

Not sure if there is one I'm not thinking of but I have to agree that Worlds Fastest Indian was a great movie.

I enjoyed "He11 Ride" a lot. Woaahh! I can't spell the "underworld" correctly in this forum? I wasn't aware it was profanity so much!

I used to stay up and watch all those old biker movies. Bruce Dern hosted this late night show on Speed that was all the old biker movies. He got all his front teeth knocked out doing one of those flicks by a real biker that took offence to him wearing the jacket. I can't remember weather it was a biker in the movie or one on the street after a shoot.

The Leather Boys is wonderful 60's brit-iron. There's a bit of a gay thing going on but you can ignore that and goggle at the bikes.

I suggest we have a top ten of the top crappest top ten lists with this one very near the top.
Wild Hogs is the best film about motorcycling. Nothing really gets close to it
Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"

I really like Knightriders. It was nice to see George Romero do something, not about Zombies. It's a good movie, and it would be fun to joust on bikes. I'm just sayin. My favorites have to be Psychomania, or The Undertaker and His pals for good Triumph movies. Soren?

man, not many movies make me long for a road trip like that one even if it is a comedy, most of us here can relate with the desire to break away from our day to day and just get on and go

Bruce Dern played 'the loser' in Wild Angels. The movie had the Hells Angels in it and more than Dern got popped a few times. Great biker movie. Frank Sinatra was fuming after he found out that his daughter played a biker chick role. Movie also had Peter Fonda cast as the biker gang leader. Movie was filmed in the Venice, San Pedro and Palm Springs area.

Totally agree
Mask is good too, although more a film that features bikes and bikers than a biker movie
He!! Ride is just plain stupid IMHO As is My Motorcycle is a Vampire
There is an old Brit film about motorcyclists coming back from the dead that is OK, can't remember what its called though , it made such an impression on me

Huh! I remember that one when I was a kid, late night tv. If I remember correctly, you had to commit suicide to join the gang, but then you couldn't die. As a teen, I thought about the philosophy of that act for a long time....weird film....can't remember how it ends...

I haven't seen Motorcycle Diaries yet because it's subtitled but I have it and plan to eventually see it. That was just one I hadn't seen mentioned.

Motorcycle Diaries is only a motorcycle movie for the first half. After his Norton breaks down, it becomes the story of how Che Guevara decided to hate everyone and everything and become a communist.

...and thus begins to sing the praises of mass-transit!
