Does anyone know of a good aftermarket option for the Speedmaster, besides Corbin? What's up with Mustang? Why don't they come up with one?

British Customs has one.We had a member here some time back that bought one but I don't recall what his opinion of it was.Maybe he'll see this and speak up. Good question about Mustang.Maybe if we all sent them an e-mail telling them that the seats on our bikes are the worst feature perhaps they'd take notice. Then there's always the custom seat route but that can be a crap shoot. Some guys really don't know what they're doing and it can be a real pain in the.... well you know. Good Luck

+1 on Spencers Motorcycle Seats. I sent my seats down to him and got quick turn around time as well as a seat that is much more comfortable to ride on for extended periods of time. Would definitely recommend this upgrade to anyone that is not happy with the stock seat and doesn't want to or can't afford to buy a custom seat.

+1 I only have one tank of gas in on the seat since I got it back. But at 6'2" the upward curve at the back of the seat is not pressing into the base of my spine.

http://www.meancitycycles.com/I am very pleased with the reshaping & memory foam that they used. So far I have no complaints and would recommend them to anyone searching for an upgrade. A couple of guys I ride with on a regular basis both have mustang seats, (star 1100 & the other is a softail) we prefer the seat that I have now over theirs. I think this is best mod I have done to the bike. I didn't go with fancy leathers or designs, as I didn't know if the seat was going to be much difference and that would be the only thing I would do different. I spoke with them over the phone first to make sure that what I thought I wanted would indeed be what would be best, and they know there stuff. I was moved back and down a bit and it is considerable softer and much more enjoyable on long runs, no more of the hesistation to how am I going to get off the seat to put another tank of fuel in without looking like a forest fire hemroid flare up. Turn around time was also faster than they said it would take. I am sure that there are several companies that do this, but I used this one and would use them again with no hesitation. Good luck on your seat and I am sure that what ever you do it will be better than what came on the bike. Also, I am 6'3" and weigh approx 190.

Rick Mayer did mine in 04 and I am still very happy with the results. I went with the leather option and I'm glad I did, it just feels better than the vinyl.
