Well I wasn't gonna say anything 'cause what do I know, but pulling that plug did it for me. And as Terry was saying, doesn't cost anything. And you can always plug it back in...
Just to add some light to this Ken, I (and many others) had a bad case of the poppity-pops which disappeared quite magically after disconnecting the TPS. It didn't work for everyone because there are so many variables such as pipes, jetting, intake and outtake. But you can read a fascinating journal about it right here.
