I finally got my bike back. The stock air box seems to have fixed the issue with the bike dying at highway speeds.

Next issue. The throttle cable is too tight (per the Known problems thread in the Tech Vault). Is there an online guide showing how to untwist the cable? It only has any effect when at right lock.

I have found the throttle cable adjusters on the handlebars and on the carbs. The thread from the TV said I needed to undo one end and untwist it.

Thanks.
I do have aftermarket grips, if that matters.

PS
After looking over the bike, it already has an allen screw kit on the carbs.

PPS
I am planning on taking the bike to Kansas City this weekend, if anyone is going to be around and wants to meet.

To "untwist"the cables just undo one end and let it hang straight. It should untwist itself.

Just my 2 cents...First I would check the routing. The cables are ran down the left side of the frame from factory. I re-routed mine down the right side of the frame the first time I had my carbs off. No further issues since. NR
