I've been in Milwaukee the last day on business, so before I headed South to Chicagoland, I thought I'd skip lunch and visit the Harley museum. It's a very neat experience and nicely laid out. They have a progression of HD's from around 1906, so you can see the development of the bikes up to the present all in a line. It's definitely worth a few hours time if you're ever in the area, and they even give factory tours. General admission is 16 bucks for adults.

I signed the guestbook with "Triumph Forever!" Couldn't help myself...

One of these days I'd also like to visit that museum, John. Glad to hear you had a good time.

BTW, for those in the southwestern section of the U.S., there's a very nice M/C museum at Buddy Stubbs Harley-Davidson in the Phoenix area which contains over a hundred bikes of over 30 different brands.

I greatly enjoyed my group tour through it a couple of weeks ago during Arizona Bike Week, which was guided by the ex-racer and owner of the facility, himself.

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

a couple years ago just after they opend I stopped buy on my way to a Guzzi ralley in Wi. I realy enjoyed it. I think anyone that rides motorcycle would like it. I had a hamberger and fires that was worth the money at the restront their. But had a littel trouble when I order a Bud light, the waiter told me that this was Miller country and I told him I wanted a Bud my service went down hill after that but the food was good.

I was expecting a punch line too

By the way, did you know that 95% of all Harleys ever made are still on the road? Well the good news is the other 5% made it home.
