I've been adjusting my carbs with an air/fuel sensor installed in each header.
In order to get the same numbers on each carb i have to have the needles at 3/4 turn and 1 1/2 turn.
Does anyone know whats going on here?
Thanks,,,

I have seen differences between carbs but that seems like a lot to me. I have seen 1/4 to 1/2 turn differences but no more than that. When was the last time you synced them? If 1 butterfly is letting more air/fuel in than the other it could throw off the mixture screw settings, especially if doing it with a gauge. Vacuum leaks will do it too.

When I first got my America, the left carb(sitting on it) was 1.75 turns out and right carb was screwed closed. The dealer said it was good. I opened them anyway to 3 & 2 turns. Then the Dyno was good, but they only checked the right carb.

Hey thanks,,,its been a whole season since i've done it. Will do!
My brain has been churning on this,,,,would valve gap create this issue? ie: not open long enough so increased needle adjustment to compensate?
