I know that a comparable Interstate Battery is only warranted 6 months.

Is your bike carbed or EFI? The EFIs take a slightly smaller battery.

I prefer batteries that are shipped unactivated.

I had several reservations about that and also the 140 cca vs 180 in the yuasa.

So I thought I would experiment.

Overcoming battery humps ...

"Wasn't your hump on your left side?"
"Hump, what hump?"

Yep Richard, you're right! 'Cause if your battery develops humps, then your bike won't...

...fire up.

And THEN you'd have to give it a...

...push start!!!

Classic movie. I first saw it tripping and laughed hysterically the whole way through. Probably pissed off all the other audience. Watched it again (straight) a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if it was one of the first spoof movies?

Yep! Classic movie, alright!

Yep, back in the '70s, Mel Brooks was certainly on a roll with flicks like this one and "Blazing Saddles".

And I don't know if "Young Frankenstein" was one of the first movie spoofs, but it might still be one of the best!
