I know that a comparable Interstate Battery is only warranted 6 months.

Is your bike carbed or EFI? The EFIs take a slightly smaller battery.

I prefer batteries that are shipped unactivated.

I had several reservations about that and also the 140 cca vs 180 in the yuasa.
So I thought I would experiment.

Yep Richard, you're right! 'Cause if your battery develops humps, then your bike won't... ...fire up. And THEN you'd have to give it a... ...push start!!!

Classic movie. I first saw it tripping and laughed hysterically the whole way through. Probably pissed off all the other audience. Watched it again (straight) a couple of weeks ago. I wonder if it was one of the first spoof movies?

Yep! Classic movie, alright! Yep, back in the '70s, Mel Brooks was certainly on a roll with flicks like this one and "Blazing Saddles". And I don't know if "Young Frankenstein" was one of the first movie spoofs, but it might still be one of the best!
