I would have taken my foot and stepped on the valve stem to break it off so she could set and wait on a tire repair truck. Because she is a woman that needs an education in consequences for behavior, and some time to sit and think. If it had been a dude he would have been laying on the ground gasping for air after I kicked his ribs in. This mamby panby crap about letting people act an a## and not doing anything about it is why people feel free to indulge their narcissistic impulses. Society has gone to crap over it too. Allowing someone to get away with it contributes to the problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Uh huh, uh huh, yep Chad, I suppose those kind'a folks contribute to make a society "go to crap" alright! Uh huh, I agree with ya there.
However, I think you might be forgettin' those OTHER kinds of folks out there who do their share to send a society into the ol' crapper too....those folks who contribute to the overburdening of our already overburdened Criminal Justice System by NEEDLESSLY gettin' themselves arrested for offenses such as, say, Assault and Battery.
Yep, seems to me you might've forgotten about "THEM" folks, huh?! Though, I suppose at least "them folks" ain't no "namby pambys", huh?!
But, then again, with you bein' so young as all, I can understand why you might've forgotten this.
I mean, you ARE about 19 years old nowadays, RIGHT???
(...WHAT???!!!...you say you have COLLEGE AGE KIDS, do ya???!!!...well, never mind then)

ha,ha thats funny. I guess I am lucky to not have many of those types of problems, or I could get in trouble. The funny thing about all my misbehavings I have only been to jail once, and for one night. Many years ago. I got the ole Houston rodeo special. You know the whole 14 cops gang up on ya and beat the crap out of you. Then you spend one night in jail and go home tomorrow to shake it off. I was born in the wrong time I guess. when you were expected to be "mannered" and respectful. And two men in a fight was men settling their differences. Best man wins and buys the loser a drink afterward. Men aint men anymore and women are worse. So yes I am the guy confronts people on their bull----, But I am also the guy who holds the door open for a lady, and pick up something for someone who drops it and actually returns it to them rather than keep it. I am the guy who goes back into the store and pays for it when I find something didn't get rung up, but I will confront you for wrong doing with what ever force is needed be it if you wrong me, or some one who can't protect themself. If you can protect yourself you are on your own. I would wrather live in a world with more like me than more like that woman.

I agree with much of what you just said there, Chad. Except, the thing about attempting to teach people a lesson in common courtesy with your fists.
Oh, and also about holding the door open for ladies. Because, I feel in this day and age one should hold the door open for all who might walk up just after opening said door, and regardless of their gender. And, this also goes for ladies who might reach said door and open it before another person of either gender reaches it.
(...of course, you might have just slightly misstated your thoughts there, and actually meant to say that, right?!)

+1 and also as a man if I lost the fight I didn't call the police and try to press charges. I take it like a man and try and do better next time. Except I also did a little more than 1 day in jail (several years) for my young stupidity.

I have no idea what this tread is about. None!! Okay so let me figure it out... last year someone did something to someone and now we beat up strangers and open doors to be courteous?

Yep, that's pretty much it, Keith! (...though I'm warnin' ya right now...the next time either I'm up there in BC or you're down here in Prescott, YOU BETTER hold the friggin' door for ME if you reach it first, OR I'll knock your friggin' block off, amigo!!!)

well its good courtesy to hold the door for all who are following directly behind, and more so to go a bit out of the way for a lady. I was directly refering to a lady being with you. You open the door and hold for her. However more clearity on the matter is good. If a lady opens the door before you can reach it and then holds it open for you. Upon reaching the door you should take the door and reply with a gracious thank you.

A jerk needs to be corrected when his actions pose a risk to others with what ever force is required. For example the wheelie poping jerk at motorcycle rallies, the guy who speeds excessively through you residentual district (children play outside here). That guy with the dog that gets out and bites people, and yes the person who nearly runs you over in traffic (not on accident) but with blatant diregaurd for you and others around you.

I dunno Chad, if a lady opens the door for me and refuses to let me take it and hold it for her and instead insists that I go first should I belt her one? I'm so confused

Now then, a breach of manners by a stranger is not cause for correction. Chalk it up to ignorance and shine it on.
I'm not about to assault someone for nearly running me over either, I'm a self defense kinda guy. You're safe if you pi*s me off. Not so if you force me into defending myself.
I may give a piece of my mind and walk off, but I'm not going to jail and/or getting sued to satisfy some mythical macho stereotype.

No Bill, you should marry her if you're not already married. If you find someone that conciderate in these days you found a real gem. Steve, if some that I don't know is in my yard out where I live. They are up to something.

Same here and probably stealing something or vandals. I have a lot of inner city welfare scum from NYC. No respect for anyone or anyones property. In many cases the parents moved here to get the kids away from the gangs and brought the gangs with them. This used to be a nice resort community but NYC has ruined it.
