Rich "in the way a bit" - that's a little hard to quantify. I have not mounted mine yet, but I can tell you it is going to be close - they are a good size. It looks like the front of them will be following the shock's line, just a little back and out (using Easy Brackets).
That means the pasengers leg will actually kind of bend around them. How much of an issue that is I think is going to depend on the passenger. My better half said she didn't think it would be a problem, but I really can't see her going for a ride where we couldn't leave them off at home.
If I get them mounted soon I'll post pictures, assuming nobody else does.
