From a Florida perspective:

Rolling the motorsickle in the garage immediately is nice if it is raining. However, With a breeze outside of the garage, the motorsickles cool much quicker outside, the heat is keep outside and walking the two feet to the exterior wall mounted clicker is well, easy! In a half hour to 45 minutes roll the bike inside the garage. (If'n your garage is as crowded as mine, you don't want to remove your gear in the garage with the motosickle inside anyways.)

More on topic: Who was it that installed a cheapo clicker behind their ignition side fax air cover holder? That was an eloquent solution. Turns out it was the solution implemented by ssjones:
