Just some more info....
I havent ever rejetted after putting on the fishtails. I may be running a bit lean, but the bike runs really well.
They are LOUD. Because of the shape of them, around 4500 rpm, there is kind of a ringing. So, yes, you will need to do something. For me half a package of 0 grade steel wool in each pipe did the trick.
I dont remember what size holes I drilled (it's been a few years). You can take one of the nutserts to determine the size of hole. I do remember I stared with a small pilot hole then went bigger.
I havent noticed the rivets or bolts come loose at all. I did seal the holes with some orange RTV. Just one more thing to clarify, I didnt rivit the hangers to the pipes, I used threaded rivits, they are like adding a threaded hole, so you can use a bolt.
