I have a daytona 3/4 helmet, but its not like it has a daytona manufacturer tag so it could be the carbon fiber one is bought from the same manufacture, but who knows?
the way I see it, a DOT half helmet is bought to meet law requirements more than safety. As long as it says DOT on the back you get your insurance money. So who cares if its being recalled? I liked DOT helmets from the 70's and 80's...these new test requirements are rediculous.
