Quote: Another large collection of fond memories from my favorite kinda people: Geezers on Triumphs. Thanks to all for who you are and what you do. Another fantastic rally.
A good chance for a newby to meet a few of you. As others have said, Ed did a great job putting it all together. the Saturday ride was a trip through my past - 20 to 30 years ago. One flashback was during the ride through Letchworth State Park when I vividly remember being punched in the ribs and hearing "If you don't slow down, I'm going to jump off." (I did. She didn't) 27 years ago, I was married at a spot across the gorge from the ****** overlook.
Great ride. Enjoyable weekend. Good bunch of people. I hope to do it again next year.
Quote: hey all I know the form has been down..but please as you can get back on ..please post that you are home safe & sound so that me & vicki don't worry...
Thanks Ed & Vicki
Greg and I arrived in Columbia SC before Midnight Monday. Sunday we rode through rural PA then slabbed it from I70 to Silver Spring MD arriving at 6:30pm. Monday we rode 29 through Virginia to Charlottesville, NC where we rode the upper half of the BRP to down to Fancy Gap. I saw the priest along the way. Picture to follow.
I arrived home yesterday at 4pm.
Great Rally Ed! Great brewskies Pat! Nice shirts Eddy!
Great campsite. fun rally. Rain? Who freaking cared? Thursday night sitting in the creek around the tables under the canopy was the bestest night. wonder how i didn't slip and fall in the flowing mud for some reason my balance was impaired...Red asz er IPA was delectible.
Got home alright. No rain. No major heat. Last time clutch slipped was during a 5th gear cable stretch when leaving Columbia SC Tuesday morning. Rear tire still has no bare patches. chain still hanging on.
Thanks ed and vicky - i had a great ride home. Rained for a bit but not cold at all.
Enjoyed meeting old and new friends. That camp site is outstanding and the ride on saturday showed off the lake area roads and parks perfectly. I'll pm about the fairing.
I got back yesterday (Tuesday) at 3 PM, I left Jacks and went through Chi town and decided to swing by RIVCO and visit the folks who helped get me going. What an incredible tour I got and the folks are awesome there! The owner has a pristine 1994 Triumph Tiger at the factory, so cool to see that!
Decided not to go home the normal way and proceeded up eastern Wisconsin and would take a west route around Wausau. Ended up spending the night in Stevens Point, Wi then at Wausau the next day decided to keep heading north and went to Michigan then I turned left and headed home. My wife was mad at me because; I thought you said you would be home in four hours!....oops!
Rally was a blast for me. As always and I concur with sentiments expressed, awesome and so good to see everyone again and to meet new folks. The ride with Big Jack was fun both directions, the ride with the boyz...just too cool.
Thanks to each and every one of you for making a wonderful adventure for me, a worth while endeavor.

Dang, I thought I heard you roll by Port Orange! Glad you made it safe and hope to see you soon!
Rolling along US283 in Kansas about 8.2 miles north of Ness City, I chopped the throttle to do a u-turn. Saw some huge Galapagos Turtles next to a cow pond. Oh well. Goggle has not captured them on film, but I did!
Ed..can I order my shirts for next year? That way I don't have to beg Fast Eddy who was so gracious to sell me one because the order had already been completed...I want an XL tee and an XL work shirt...I am on record as having ordered it officially now..No more snoozin' and losin' for me....
Raised on the farm on whole milk but weaned way too early
i have 969 photos. Well not all of em are the rally proper. There was a little thing about 7500 miles being tossed in somewhere!

Letchworth State Park, NY during our Saturday ride
Here is the bike I saw, wasn't a 1994, I missed typed it was a 1974 Tiger!
I had a great ride back, Big Jack and I went to his place on a nice long but lazy ride back. Monday I swooped up to the home of RIVCO and visited the girls there and met the owner, talked about bikes and had a wonderful tour and went to lunch with the ladies.
I then headed north through Wisconsin and decided not to go the normal route east then north, Stayed the night and decided to go easy and head up north a piece and then go east. When I got to where I was going to make the turn, decided I would go to Michigan! My wife was mad, "I thought you said you were going to be home in four hours? Where did you go?" ...Michigan!
