Good on ya John... I commend you in this situation. She's the one that has to live with herself and you... well you get to live with yourself with a clear conscience. But ummmm, just a thought but maybe look into if it's cheaper just to pay for the 'damage' (not damage, but 'damage') yourself, or get the insurance co. to cover it.
