Check the pics in this link. http://dinqua.com/Triumph/carbs4.html Basically it's between the carbs, a few inches from the TPS itsself. Unplugged, it defaults ignition advance to the WOT setting. Some say it improves power/acceleration.

Ah! Yeah. It's just we're putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. So if you could go ahead and try to remember to do that from now on, that'd be great. All right!

If you have issues with the bike shutting down for a couple seconds after hitting the rev limiter, disconnecting the TPS sometimes fixes the shutdown problem. Then after hitting the rev limiter it will just pick right back up after shifting gears. Give it a try it worked for me.
