OK, my neighbor came over and took a close look, he's an auto mechanic of many years and motorcyclist as well (not Triumph though). He is fairly certain the float is sticking. So I'll drain & drop the bowl tomorrow, time permitting, and check the float. I know I had a problem with the pin, that holds the float, sliding out this morning when I assembled the bowls. So I suspect the float got cocked or hung up inside.
Still gots to get me some little allen wrenches.
