Hmmmm, almost went with gold thinking it would look pretty good with our Cardinals but red won over for some reason. The chain came in red (and several other colours too) but the master link wasn't painted (good eye). I've been meaning to hit that link with some red... probably will around the time the chain's worn out.
I like the"look" mountain.And the whitewall!!!!.........now that must be a big deal keeping it white on a bike?????? 
Yeah, keeping the whitewall white is a little work, but not that bad. The worse side to clean is the brake side because of all the brake dust that ends up on the tires.
